Perform on Stage

We are seeking applications from interested local talented artists to perform on  stage at the Western Port Festival in 2018.

It doesn’t matter if you are a school band, solo musician, choir, DJ or rock band. We’re a community festival and we’re all about opportunity!

Event Detail:

The Main Stage will be in operation for all three days of the Western Port Festival, namely;

Friday 23rd February 2018: Open  
Saturday 24th February 2018: Open
Sunday 25th February 2018:  Open

The Main Stage will be operated by professional audio visual technicians and positioned on-top of the hill, overlooking the Festival.

Sets are roughly 45 minutes long with a 20 minute changeover between performers but times will vary depending on acts . You will be required to bring your own back line incl. instruments, the festival will provide Mic’s, DI’s and Stands.

Selection Criteria:

Before you apply, please consider the selection criteria;

  • Locality to the Western Port area
  • Cost / Value for Money
  • Suitability for a family audience
  • Professionalism & Ambassador for Festival

There is no guarantee your application will be accepted. All applications received will be reviewed by the festival committee and preference will be awarded to applications which best match the selection criteria.

    1. Please follow the reasonable direction of marshalls and stage organisers.
    2. The entrants, contractors and/or sub-contractors shall indemnify Western Port Festivals Inc. for any claims arising out of the entry, for bodily injury, loss of life, property damage and accidents to third parties.
    3. Western Port Festivals Inc. accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to entry or personal property or injury to personnel or animals associated with the entry.
    4. Entrants, contractors and/or sub-contractors shall be responsible for ensuring that the relevant Health and Safety Regulations and Road Traffic Regulations are complied with.
    5. Bands/Groups that cause any damage to Western Port Festival Inc. equipment or belongings will be liable to cover the cost of repair or replacement.
    6. Western Port Festivals Inc. reserves the right to order the removal of signs, banners or any material or person considered offensive by the Police or organisers.
    7. Western Port Festivals Inc. reserves the right to accept or reject applications to participate.
